Three years working with Macheo
Macheo is a Kenyan NGO supporting vulnerable children. When we started, the organization, approximately 130 staff, was stuck in silos and unspoken frustrations, reflected in a low psychological safety score.
After the first rounds of leadership training: a 30% increase in psychological safety and feedback culture. And a 7% lift in the organization's community impact score.
It's that foundation that gave the leaders in our most recent training the courage to go even deeper.
The more vulnerability, the more trust. More real questions, and conversations that actually matter.
"Am not the same as I came in the first training." — coordinator, Macheo

Who is your trainer?
I'm Robbert-Jan. In the work I do, I keep noticing the same patterns: teams working harder than they need to, leaders who've lost touch with the wisdom they already carry, organizations running past themselves in their urgency to make an impact.
Beneath all that motion, there's usually something simple. A conversation that isn't happening. A feeling that isn't shared. A truth everyone sees but no one names. That's where my work begins. Not because I have answers, but because I've learned that most answers are already in the room.
Getting here wasn't a straight line. Eight years in banking on the Amsterdam Zuidas taught me the language of performance and results. The eight years that followed, a deep dive into spirituality from a base in Tenerife, taught me the language of attention and space. For a long time I thought they were separate worlds. Now I know: where they meet is where teams find real connection, and real impact. Walk Your Talk isn't a promise to clients. It's what I ask of myself.
