"There are moments in leadership that quietly change you forever."

That is how I would describe the leadership training my team of 15 went through in the last three years, facilitated by Robbert-Jan.
What I witnessed was a gradual process. Walls came down. Trust grew. Conversations became more honest, and kinder at the same time. Team members began listening to understand rather than to defend themselves. Constructive feedback shifted from something to fear into something to welcome.
What moved me most was seeing leaders who had previously held back now speak with confidence, vulnerability, and genuine care for one another. The team atmosphere became lighter, healthier, and more connected, and that shift showed up directly in how decisions were made, how challenges were addressed, and how we serve our children and communities.
"As a director, it has been deeply emotional and inspiring to witness how creating safe spaces for people to be heard and valued has transformed not only our relationships, but the strength and growth of the entire organisation."
— Sarah Mbira, Managing Director, Macheo Children's Organisation
